Should your system crash – regardless of the reason – we will provide you promptly with your familiar operating environment temporarily, based on the current data backup. Your personnel can continue to work, they can collect the data for evaluation and distribution. The error which precipitated the breakdown can be localised and corrected without undue time being lost through the interruption.

This service is available for the systems ENZ2000 and EDW3000. Our redundant system is constructed and operated on the basis of your last backup. It is necessary to observe specific defaults when projecting your system, such as path routes to the data files, a uniform syntax for call numbers and prefixes and an appropriate authorisation concept. Moreover your system must contain a specific update version to ensure that the database and program versions are compatible. However the database system for instance is irrelevant, we can set up and operate Oracle® or Microsoft SQL Server databases as an alternative or parallel to your existing one. You can transfer your data backups to us either on data carriers or play them cyclically in our system over Internet.

In the event of damage to your system you can request the redundant operation from us. The basic contract includes the proviso whereby the interaction between the redundant system and the main system is controlled annually plus a two day backup operation. During this time your personnel can access our data system using secure VPN connections and work in a familiar environment.

The uploading and processing of your billing and market data are also backed up throughout the breakdown. We will process the pertinent files and create the required data format. They can be despatched either by email, FTP or http download. The technical details are defined and confirmed in a joint project planning.
